Editing & Proofreading

There’s a reason why writer’s head off into a solitary space when writing (like a cabin in the woods far, farrrr away). Not only does the writing process involve the actual conjuring, drafting and physical writing, but one of the most time-consuming (and often mind-bending) parts of any piece of writing is the editing/proofreading processs.
Where Paperback works
Don’t worry, we know not everyone is a book author. But, in fact, editing work stretches far beyond the perimeters of just novels, or as with the times, eBooks.

These are just a few examples of where editing assistance comes in handy — fine combing through your work to ensure it’s free of grammatical errors, and worst of all, a spelling mistake. This also includes editing punctuation, style, tone, and consistency to provide clarity, accuracy, and error-free work. This process also involves reviewing, revising, and refining.
“Writing without revising is the literary equivalent of waltzing gaily out of the house in your underwear.” – Patricia Fuller
Proofreading falls within this spectrum, and is especially needed for longer content/pieces of writing work, such as novels, books, and academic writing. It involves one-step after the editing stage. Once a final draft has been edited, the proofreader (us) reviews the final draft, and will mark out any errors/inconsistencies picked up. It’s the final stage.
